A: If you lost your card then please log in to your account and click Mail Me a Card under the Hy-Vee PERKS® section. You can also download the Hy-Vee App to utilize your digital card.

Q: I forgot my login/password, how do I reset?
A: Click HERE to go to the password reset and enter your email. Then check your email and follow the reset instructions to choose a new password. If you cannot remember your email you used to login then please contact customer service by emailing customercare@hy-vee.com or calling (800) 772-4098.
Q: I want to link my card to another family member and share my rewards.
A: Visit https://www.hy-vee.com/my-account/fuel-saver-plus-perks and log in to your account. Scroll down to the Manage Hy-Vee PERKS Family Members section and click the Add a New Member button. You will need the family member's e-mail address and Hy-Vee PERKS® number to invite the member to link their account.

Q: I'm not a current Hy-Vee PERKS ® member. How do I sign up?
A: Get instant access now by downloading the Hy-Vee mobile app or visiting https://www.hy-vee.com/perks/activate.aspx to sign up. Scan the digital card in the mobile app or request a physical card to be mailed to your home (https://www.hy-vee.com/my-account/fuel-saver-plus-perks).
Q: Is there a cost to using Hy-Vee PERKS ®?
A: It's free! There's no cost to being a Hy-Vee PERKS® member and enjoying the benefits.
Q: Can I use my Hy-Vee PERKS® immediately?
A: You can start earning fuel discounts as soon as you sign up. In order to redeem fuel discounts and earn/redeem perks, you will need to provide your information — first and last name, telephone number and email address — through the Hy-Vee app or at https://www.hy-vee.com/perks.
Q: I have the old red Hy-Vee PERKS card. Can I continue to use that?
A: Yes, but you will only be able to take advantage of fuel savings and select offers. To unlock more savings, like exclusive PERKS prices, you'll need to set up your new Hy-Vee PERKS card on your Hy-Vee app or at https://www.hy-vee.com/perks.
Q: Can I add another card to my account or link accounts?
A: Visit https://www.hy-vee.com/my-account/fuel-saver-plus-perks and log in to your account. Scroll down to the Hy-Vee PERKS Family Members section and click the Add a New Member button. You will need the family member's e-mail address and Hy-Vee PERKS number to invite the member to link their account.
Q: Will I be able to link the Hy-Vee PERKS® number to my Fuel Rewards Network account?
A: Yes, you can link your Hy-Vee PERKS number to your Fuel Rewards Network (FRN) account. Visit https://www.fuelrewards.com to sign in to your account and link your Hy-Vee PERKS® number.
Q: Who do I contact if I lose my card, have questions about PERKS or need to make changes to my account?
A: Visit https://www.hy-vee.com/perks for answers to some of the most common questions, to get a new number, request a copy of your existing card, or to update your information. If you still have questions, our Hy-Vee PERKS® helpline is staffed 7am-7pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm weekends and holidays at (800) 232-2580. The Customer Service team at your local Hy-Vee store also can answer questions about the Hy-Vee PERKS® program.
Q: How do I transfer my number to an account that is part of a Hy-Vee PERKS® family?
A: The account being transferred to will need to leave the family, or remove all family members if it is the admin account. Once the family is removed, you can transfer the Fuel Saver number to that account and then invite members back to the Hy-Vee PERKS® family.
Using Your Card
Q: How do I earn fuel discounts?
A: Once you have signed up for Hy-Vee PERKS®, or your Hy-Vee PERKS® card is linked to your online account, you can earn fuel discounts by purchasing eligible products in store and scanning your Hy-Vee PERKS® card, scanning your barcode from the Hy-Vee app or providing your phone number at the register. You can also earn online through Aisles Online by logging into the Aisles Online account associated with your card with each online purchase. Look for the Fuel Saver promotional items by finding the Fuel Saver icon online, on store shelf signs or in our weekly ad. Fuel discounts will be loaded to your number automatically with each eligible purchase. And when you use your number, you'll also be eligible for other perks and rewards.
Q: If the Fuel Saver offer is for multiple items, do I have to purchase that entire quantity of those items to earn a discount?
A: It depends on the terms of the promotion. For example, if the advertised Fuel Saver discount offer is 10 cents per gallon for a purchase of 10 like items, you must purchase all 10 like items to receive the full 10 cent discount. If only three like items are purchased, the discount would be 3 cents per gallon. Some promotions do require the purchase of a certain number of items to be eligible. Please check the signage in the store for specific details on each offer.
Q: What exactly are the “perks”?
A: Hy-Vee PERKS® members receive special offers, digital deals, surprise savings and the chance for bonuses like free products, vacation packages and other prizes. These special offers and surprise savings will be loaded automatically to your number; simply swipe your card or scan the barcode in the Hy-Vee app to redeem.
Q: How do I receive perks?
A: Scan your Hy-Vee PERKS® card, or scan the barcode in the Hy-Vee app to be eligible for exclusive offers and to enter drawings for random perks. Some offers will be redeemable at the cash register or on your next visit to your Hy-Vee store. Recipients of giveaways are randomly selected.
Q: How do I redeem my fuel discounts?
A: Simply swipe or scan your Hy-Vee PERKS® card or mobile app before pumping your gas. The price will automatically roll back at the pump. You can also scan or swipe your card or app when paying for fuel inside the gas station and the discount will be reflected in your total purchase price.
Q: Where do I redeem my fuel discounts?
A: You can redeem your discounts at any Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh location, any Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Express, Hy-Vee Gas, Casey's or participating Shell or Sinclair station. Use our gas station finder to locate the nearest participating stations: https://www.hy-vee.com/stores/gas-finder/ .
Q: Do fuel discounts expire?
A: Each Fuel Saver discount earned will expire 30 days after the date of purchase of the eligible Fuel Saver item. You can check your balance and track expirations in the Hy-Vee app or at https://www.hy-vee.com/perks at any time.
Q: Where do I find my available Fuel Saver balance?
A: Fuel Saver item discount and balance information will appear at the bottom of each receipt when you've used your Hy-Vee PERKS® number. You can also check your balance by logging in to your My Hy-Vee account in the Hy-Vee app or on https://www.hy-vee.com/perks. You can also call the Hy-Vee PERKS® helpline at (800) 232-2580.
Q: How many times can I redeem my fuel discounts?
A: Your Fuel Saver balance resets to zero after each redemption, regardless of the number of gallons purchased. Fuel Saver discounts can only be used on one vehicle and cannot exceed 20 gallons per redemption transaction.
Q: What if my Fuel Saver discount is more than the price of fuel? Do I get my gas for free?
A: Fuel saver discounts cannot reduce the price below a minimum per-gallon price, which typically ranges from $0.019 and $0.109, depending on the pump. For example, if you have $4 per gallon in discounts and gas is $3.51 per gallon, the pump rolls back to a minimum and the excess discount of $.49 per gallon will remain in your account and can be used on a future transaction. Expiration rules will still apply to those discounts.
Q: Can I use my Fuel Saver discounts on multiple transactions at the same time?
A: No, you can only apply your Fuel Saver fuel discount to one transaction. If you scan, swipe or enter your Hy-Vee PERKS account for simultaneous fuel transactions it can lock your account for up to 20 minutes.
Q: Are there items excluded from earning Fuel Saver fuel discounts?
A: Yes, the purchase of the following items are excluded or restricted in some way: alcohol, tobacco, fuel, price-controlled milk products, kerosene, insurance or any other third-party payments for prescription drugs or other products or services, co-pays and deductibles for government-funded benefit programs (where prohibited), postage stamps, lottery tickets, money orders, money transfers, pre-paid debit card, gift-card purchases, amusement or entertainment tickets, fundraising activities (script program), donations, taxes, returned check service fee, and items prohibited by law. Q: What is the PERKS Hub?
A: The PERKS Hub is your one-stop destination for all of your Hy-Vee PERKS membership benefits. In the Hub, you can view and redeem personalized perks, participate in challenges, enter giveaways, clip coupons, view exclusive partner offers and more.
Q: Can I access the PERKS Hub on desktop?
A: At this time, the PERKS Hub is only available through the Hy-Vee mobile app.
Pharmacy Transactions
Q: Am I excluded from earning Fuel Saver discounts on pharmacy purchases if I have federally funded insurance like Tricare, Medicare, or Medicaid?
A: No, you are not excluded from the Hy-Vee PERKS® program. Federal law requires that we limit the rewards you may earn up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. Remember, this limit only applies to rewards gained through the pharmacy department. You can continue to gain unlimited Fuel Saver discounts on purchases outside of the pharmacy department. Promotions on pharmacy and other items in store are subject to change; please see your store for current Hy-Vee PERKS® offers.
Q: If I have coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program, are there limits on the Hy-Vee PERKS® discounts and perks I can earn on pharmacy purchases?
A: No. Individuals with health benefits provided under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program may participate in the Hy-Vee PERKS® program and are not subject to the limitations that apply to federally funded insurance. Promotions on pharmacy and other items in store are subject to change; please see your store for current Hy-Vee PERKS® offers.
Q: If I have federally funded insurance but I pay cash for my prescription, are there still limits on the Hy-Vee PERKS® discounts and offers I can earn from pharmacy purchases?
A: Yes. Federal laws prohibit pharmacies from providing incentives to individuals who have federally funded insurance unless the incentives are limited to earning up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. These limits apply whether you pay cash for the prescription or have the prescription submitted to your insurance.
Q: Can I participate in prescription transfer promotions if I have federally funded insurance?
A: No. Fuel Saver discounts cannot be earned for transferring a prescription if you have federally funded insurance.
Q: I was a beneficiary of federally funded insurance, but now I no longer have federally funded insurance. Do I still have limits on the Hy-Vee PERKS® discounts and offers I can earn for pharmacy purchases?
A: If you were a beneficiary of a federally funded insurance program within the last six months, the limits on pharmacy promotions will apply. After six months without federally funded insurance, the limits will no longer apply.
Q: What if one of my family members has federally funded insurance, but I have commercial insurance. Can we use the same Hy-Vee PERKS® number to earn discounts and perks?
A: Yes. We track the earned Fuel Saver discounts for each customer using the same number. Individuals with federally funded insurance can earn up to $3.50 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per year per patient and up to $0.75 cents/gallon (for up to 20 gallons) per transaction from the pharmacy department. Patients who have commercial insurance can earn an unlimited amount in the calendar year.
Q: When does my yearly balance renew for pharmacy purchases (if eligible)?
A: Yearly balances renew on Jan. 1 each year for all Fuel Saver discounts earned on pharmacy purchases per participant.
Q: Can I use my Fuel Saver discounts earned on pharmacy purchases immediately?
A: There may be a delay in loading Fuel Saver discounts to your Hy-Vee PERKS card for pharmacy purchases. Once we validate the yearly transaction limit for your card users, you can start using your Fuel Saver discounts earned on pharmacy transactions. These verifications will typically be complete within 24 to 48 hours.
Q: What is the Dollar Fresh Market PERKS Program?
A: The Dollar Fresh Market PERKS program is part of the Hy-Vee PERKS and is subject to that programs official rules and terms and conditions. All Dollar Fresh Market PERKS and Hy-Vee PERKS program participants may earn rewards at any Hy-Vee branded locations, including Hy-Vee food stores, Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh, Hy-Vee Gas, Hy-Vee Mainstreet and Dollar Fresh. All of the FAQs that reference the Hy-Vee PERKS program apply equally to the Dollar Fresh PERKS program.
