Hyvee Culinary Expert Tip
Ahead of Game Plan: Prepare the glaze; cover and refrigerate. Arrange wings on baking rack, cover lightly with foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake the wings and reheat glaze to brush on and add to chicken just before guests arrive.Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Place the wings in a large resealable bag. Combine flour, chili powder, garlic powder and salt; add to wings and toss to coat. Arrange wings, skin-sides up, in a single layer on baking sheet rack. Bake for 30 minutes. Brush with half the glaze. Continue baking for 10 minutes more or until chicken is tender, no longer pink, and internal temperature is 180 degrees. Transfer chicken to a serving platter; pour remaining bowl of glaze over top. If desired, garnish with orange wedges.
