½ c. Hy-Vee 2% reduced-fat milk
1 c. Hy-Vee plain panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee everything bagel seasoning
2 slightly firm avocados, seeded and peeled
Italian parsley, for garnish
Tzatziki Greek yogurt dip, for serving

  • 3 small shallow bowls
  • Sharp knife
  • Hy-Vee olive oil cooking spray
  • Cutting board

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees according to manufacturer’s directions.

  2. Place flour in a small shallow bowl; place milk in another small shallow bowl. Stir together bread crumbs and bagel seasoning in a third bowl.

  3. Cut avocados into 1/2-in.-thick slices. Dust avocado slices, one at a time, in the flour. Dip into milk. Repeat dipping slices in flour and milk one more time, then coat with bread crumb mixture.

  4. Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches, place coated avocado slices in a single layer in basket. Spray with cooking spray; air-fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until lightly golden. Turn slices over and spray with cooking spray. Air-fry for 3 to 5 minutes more or until crisp and golden.

  5. To serve, garnish with parsley, if desired. Serve with tzatziki dip.
