    2 c. Hy-Vee biscuit mix
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee sugar
    1 c. Hy-Vee half-and-half
    1 c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter
    2 Hy-Vee large eggs, slightly beaten

    Directions

    1. Combine well biscuit mix, cornmeal, baking soda, salt and sugar in bowl.
    2. In saucepan, scald half-and-half with butter. Add to dry ingredients.
    3. Mix in eggs.
    4. Pour into greased and floured 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    5. Allow to stand for several minutes before cutting.
