¼ c. corn syrup | ||
1 c. packed brown sugar | ||
½ tsp. salt | ||
½ tsp. almond extract | ||
¼ tsp. baking soda | ||
12 c. popped Full Circle natural popcorn | ||
1 oz. sliced almonds |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in corn syrup, brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in extract and baking soda.
- Pour mixture over popcorn and almonds. Stir to coat. Pour onto a greased baking sheet with sides. Bake 40 minutes; stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.
