5 c. uncooked Hy-Vee old-fashioned oatmeal | ||
1 c. steel-cut oats | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee almond slivers | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee sweetened coconut | ||
1 (6 oz) pkg Hy-Vee dried tart cherries | ||
½ c. almond oil | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee honey | ||
¾ tsp. cinnamon | ||
yogurt, fresh fruit or skim milk, optional |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- In large mixing bowl, stir together oatmeal, steel-cut oats, almond slivers, coconut and cherries; set aside.
- In small bowl, stir together almond oil, honey and cinnamon; add to oat mixture and stir well.
- Spread granola in a greased baking pan and bake 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Cool and store in airtight container. Serve with yogurt, fresh fruit or skim milk.
