Avocado on Jalapeno-Cheddar Bread

1 (8 oz) loaf Baking Stone jalapeno cheddar bread, sliced diagonally to 1/2-inch-thick slices | ||
Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
2 ripe avocados, pitted | ||
2 garlic cloves | ||
½ c. cilantro | ||
1 jalapeno, seeded | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste | ||
½ lime, juiced |
Directions
- Brush bread slices with olive oil. Cook on a preheated ridged pan on the stove top until toasted or in the oven at 350 degrees on a sheet pan for 5 to 10 minutes, until crisp.
- In a food processor, combine avocado, garlic, cilantro, jalapeno, salt, pepper and lime juice. Mix until blended well. Top grilled bread with avocado mixture.
