6 (4 oz each) boneless lean pork chops | ||
1 (8 oz) pkg sliced fresh mushrooms | ||
1 (12 oz) jar pork gravy | ||
Hot mashed potatoes, for serving |
Directions
- Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. In 2 batches if necessary, brown pork chops on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and place in a 13-by-9-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Add mushrooms to same skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until browned and tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in gravy and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over pork chops.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
- Serve pork chops and mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes, if desired.
