    1 c. Hy-Vee brown sugar
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee margarine, softened
    3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
    1 egg
    ¼ tsp. lemon extract
    1 ½ c. Hy-Vee flour
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee baking soda
    2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1 ¾ c. uncooked Hy-Vee old-fashioned oats
    1 (6 oz) pkg Hy-Vee dried mixed fruit
    1 (2 oz) pkg Hy-Vee slivered almonds

    Directions

    1. With an electric mixer, beat sugar and margarine in a large bowl until creamy.
    2. Add bananas, egg and lemon extract. Beat well.
    3. In a small mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and spice. Add to banana mixture and mix well.
    4. Stir in oats, fruit and almonds.
    5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto foil.
    6. Bake in a 375-degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
