    3 c. melted Kemps vanilla ice cream
    ¼ c. Hy-Vee flour
    3 Hy-Vee egg yolks
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee margarine
    2 c. Post Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, divided
    3 large bananas, sliced, divided
    2 c. Hy-Vee light whipped topping, thawed

    Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together melted ice cream and flour. Stir in egg yolks and margarine.
    2. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.
    3. On the bottom of an 8-by-8-inch baking dish, sprinkle 1 cup cereal. Top with half banana slices. Pour half ice cream mixture over bananas. Repeat layers, ending with ice cream mixture. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
    4. To serve, top dessert with whipped topping. Refrigerate remaining dessert.
