Barbecue Pork Sliders

2 tbsp. chili powder | ||
1 tbsp. brown sugar | ||

1 tsp. black pepper | ||
¼ tsp. cayenne pepper | ||
1 (8 pound) Hormel Always Tender pork butt roast | ||
48 small Hawaiian dinner rolls or slider buns, cut in half and toasted | ||
Barbecue sauce, for serving | ||
Prepared deli coleslaw, for serving |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In small bowl, combine the chili powder, brown sugar, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper and rub it on the exterior of the pork.
- Place roast in a large roasting pan. Bake for 5 hours or pork shreds easily.
- Remove meat from the oven and let stand for 15 minutes. Using two forks, shred meat.
- To serve, place meat on the bottom half of each roll. Drizzle pork with your favorite barbecue sauce and top with a little coleslaw, if desired.
