    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    ½ c. original barbecue sauce

    Directions

    1. Preheat charcoal or gas grill for direct cooking over medium heat. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

    2. Grill pork chops over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn; brush cooked side of pork chops with barbecue sauce. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes; turn and brush other side with barbecue sauce.

    3. Continue grilling, turning and brushing with sauce occasionally, until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees.

    4. Remove from grill. Let pork chops stand 5 minutes before serving.
