Barbecued Tempeh Sandwiches

16 oz. tempeh, thawed | ||
18 oz. barbecue sauce | ||
1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced | ||
1 green pepper, seeded and thinly sliced | ||
12 hamburger buns |
Directions
- Cut tempeh into small cubes. Place in crockpot along with barbecue sauce, onion and green pepper. Stir well to combine ingredients.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
- Toast hamburger buns. Put 1/2 cup filling in each to serve.
