Directions
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add yellow onion and continue to cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.  Add in rice and stir until all the grains are coated with butter.  Add water and salt, cover and cook until all the water is absorbed and rice is tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. 
Turn off heat and allow to sit covered for 5 to 10 minutes. Add green onions and parsley and fluff with a fork before serving.
