    ½ c. Hy-Vee barbecue sauce
    8 slice(s) Hy-Vee cheddar cheese
    8 Hy-Vee Bakery slider buns, split
    8 crisp lettuce leaves
    8 slice(s) Hy-Vee bacon, cooked crisp and halved

    Directions

    1. Preheat grill to direct heat over medium-high heat. Grill patties for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip. Brush top sides with barbecue sauce. Continue to grill for another 2 to 3 minutes, flip again, and brush with more barbecue sauce. Continue to grill and brush with barbecue sauce until temperature reaches 160 degrees. Top with each with a slice of cheese; continue cooking until just melted.
    2. Top each bottom bun with a lettuce leaf, bacon, burger and top bun. Serve with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
