Sit back and relax with a refreshing caffeine-free iced tea drink. Made with a blueberry hibiscus herbal tea, brewed in a Pinky Up Jona Teapot, this drink is fruit-forward and floral in flavor.

5 c. water
Blueberry-Lemon Tea Spritzer
4 oz. brewed blueberry-hibiscus tea
1 oz. bottled simple syrup
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. 100% pomegranate juice
3 oz. unflavored sparkling water
Lemon slices, for garnish
Basket & Bushel blueberries, for garnish

  • Pinky Up Jona teapot or 42-oz. stoneware teapot with metal infuser basket
  • Tea kettle or saucepan
  • Spoon

  • 1 (16-oz.) glass

Directions

  1. To brew tea, place tea leaves in a metal infuser basket; place inside a 42-oz. stoneware teapot. Heat water in a tea kettle or saucepan to 208 degrees. Pour water over tea leaves in the infuser basket. Steep, uncovered, for 5 to 7 minutes. Press tea leaves against the side of the infuser basket with the back of a spoon; remove and discard leaves. Let tea stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Cover teapot with lid and refrigerate until tea is completely cool. Store in refrigerator up to 5 days.

  2. For each blueberry-lemon spritzer, Add brewed tea, simple syrup, lemon juice and pomegranate juice to 1 (16-oz.) glass. Top with sparkling water; add ice. Garnish lemon slices and blueberries, if desired.
