2 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
1 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
1 c. heavy whipping cream | ||
⅔ c. corn syrup | ||
⅔ c. Hy-Vee butter | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla | ||
4 (3.5 ounces each) bags Hy-Vee natural microwave popcorn, popped |
Directions
- Combine sugar, brown sugar, whipping cream, corn syrup and butter in a large saucepan. Boil over medium-high heat to firm-ball stage, between 244 to 248 degrees.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour sugar mixture over popped popcorn, stirring to coat evenly. With buttered hands, form into balls, working quickly.
