3 c. pitted, fresh Rainier cherries, divided | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
1 (10 oz) can Hy-Vee frozen lemonade concentrate, softened | ||
3 c. chopped ice |
Directions
- In a blender, combine 2 1/2 cups cherries, sugar and lemonade concentrate. Blend on medium speed until well mixed, about 20 to 30 seconds. Add ice and blend thoroughly. Pour into a 1.5-quart loaf dish, cover and freeze.
- Stir after 1 hour and return to freezer. Repeat every hour for first 3 hours of freezing. Freeze a total of 6 hours before serving.
- Spoon dessert into dishes with small ice cream scoop and garnish with remaining cherries.
- Serve immediately.
