    2 eggs
    ½ c. unsifted flour
    ½ c. sugar
    ½ c. brown sugar, packed firmly
    1 c. butter or margarine, melted, then cooled to room temperature
    6 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped walnuts, optional
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
    ice cream or whipped topping, for garnish

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Beat in flour, white sugar and brown sugar until well-blended. Blend in cooled melted butter. Stir in chocolate chips, and nuts if desired. Pour into pie crust.
    3. Bake for 1 hour.
    4. Serve with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.
