The only thing that could make chocolate-covered bacon more like a state fair food is to put it on a stick. So we did.

- Microwave-safe bowl
- Wax paper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed baking pan with foil. Thread strips of bacon onto skewers. Arrange on prepared pan. Bake 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Remove from oven and drain on paper towel lined plate. Cool slightly
Melt dark chocolate wafers in a microwave safe bowl according to package directions. Dip cooked bacon into chocolate. While chocolate is still wet, sprinkle both sides with pistachios. Place coated bacon on a wax paper lined plate. Let stand at room temperature until chocolate is set.
