Chocolate Drop Cookies

½ c. butter, softened | ||
1 c. packed brown sugar | ||
1 large egg, well beaten | ||
1 tsp. vanilla extract | ||
1 ⅔ c. all-purpose flour | ||
6 tbsp. Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder | ||
½ tsp. salt | ||
½ tsp. baking soda | ||
½ c. 2% milk | ||
1 c. chopped english walnuts | ||
Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Frosting | ||
30 walnut halves |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar.
- Add egg, vanilla and cocoa. Mix well
- In a medium bowl, stir together flour, salt and soda.
- Alternate mixing flour mixture with milk into creamed mixture, starting with flour mixture and ending with flour mixture.
- Stir in chopped walnuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Remove cookies to wire rack to cool. Frost with Perfectly Chocolate Chocolate Frosting. Top each cookie with walnut half.
