6 oz. bittersweet chocolate | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee sugar | ||
4 Hy-Vee large eggs | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee cocoa powder |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8-inch round baking pan; set aside.
- In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and whisk well.
- Sift cocoa powder over chocolate mixture and whisk until just combined.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; invert onto serving platter and cool completely.
