1 ½ c. Hy-Vee flour | ||
2 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee butter | ||
3 Hy-Vee large eggs | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee baking powder | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt | ||
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee flake coconut |
Directions
- Using an electric mixer on low speed, combine flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter until particles are fine. Press into bottom of ungreased 13-by-9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
- Beat 1 1/2 cups brown sugar with eggs just until blended. Mix in remaining ingredients. Spread over partially baked crust. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. When cooled, cut into bars with a sharp knife.
