2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter
1 medium apple, cored and chopped
1 tbsp. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon
1 ¾ c. water
1 c. Hodgson Mill whole wheat couscous
½ c. Hy-Vee raisins

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Stir in chopped apple, brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon; cook for about 3 minutes or until apples have slightly softened. Remove apples from pan.
  2. Add water to saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and stir in apple mixture and raisins.
