4 (4 oz each) lean ground beef patties | ||
4 Hy-Vee sesame-seeded hamburger buns | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter | ||
¾ tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder | ||
4 tomato slices | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee salsa con queso, divided | ||
½ c. chopped onion, divided |
Directions
- Grill ground beef patties 4 to 5 inches from medium heat, about ten minutes, flipping once.
- Meanwhile, spread butter on each side of the buns. Sprinkle each side with garlic powder.
- When patties are nearly cooked, top each with tomato slice, 1 tablespoon salsa con queso and onion. Continue grilling an additional 2 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
- Toast buns on grill about 1 minute, or until crispy. Remove buns from grill. Place burgers on toasted buns.
