1 (12 oz) pkg Hy-Vee bow tie pasta | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine | ||
1 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee garlic salt | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee 2% milk | ||
3 oz. Hy-Vee cream cheese, cubed | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee basil | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese |
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain.
- Meanwhile, melt margarine over medium heat in a large skillet.
- Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt and place in the skillet. Cook about 2 minutes on each side, or until no longer pink.
- Add milk and heat just to boiling. Stir in cream cheese and basil.
- Reduce heat, stirring constantly until cream cheese is completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Toss hot pasta and the sauce together. Serve immediately.
