1 (16 oz) pkg frozen Hy-Vee California mix vegetables | ||
2 tbsp. water | ||
2 c. diced cooked chicken breast | ||
1 (1 lb) jar Cheesy Ragu light Parmesan Alfredo sauce | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee shredded Parmesan cheese | ||
Hy-Vee dried parsley flakes, optional |
Directions
- Prepare rotini according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- While pasta is cooking, place vegetables and water in a large microwaveable bowl. Cover with lid or plastic wrap, vented. Microwave on HIGH 3 minutes or until barely tender. Drain. Return to bowl.
- Stir in chicken and Alfredo sauce. Cover and heat on HIGH 2 to 4 minutes or until chicken and Alfredo sauce are heated through.
- Serve over hot cooked pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
