2 (14.5 oz each) cans Muir Glen diced tomatoes, undrained | ||
1 ½ c. hot water | ||
2 tsp. Italian seasoning | ||
½ tsp. Simply Organic garlic powder | ||
salt and pepper, to taste | ||
1 (1 lb) package Beeler's breakfast sausage, thawed, cooked, drained | ||
8 oz. organic dry pasta, cooked | ||
1 c. Organic Valley shredded mozzarella cheese | ||
1 c. Organic Valley shredded Parmesan cheese |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine tomato paste, tomatoes, water, seasoning and garlic powder in a large saucepan. Heat over medium heat until sauce begins to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in sausage.
- In a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish, layer pasta and meat mixture. Top with cheeses.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until mixture bubbles.
