    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove(s) garlic, minced
    4 c. Hy-Vee chicken broth
    1 (16 oz) can Hy-Vee kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (14.5 oz) can Hy-Vee Italian-style diced tomatoes, undrained
    2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    ½ c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    ½ (10 oz) pkg Hy-Vee frozen chopped spinach, thawed

    Directions

    1. Saute onion and garlic in a medium saucepan until tender.
    2. Add chicken broth, kidney beans, tomatoes, carrots and macaroni.
    3. Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until vegetables and macaroni are tender.
    4. Stir in spinach. Bring to a boil.
    5. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
