1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced | ||
1 orange bell pepper, thinly sliced | ||
1 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee salsa | ||
1 ¼ lbs. 85%-lean ground beef | ||
1 (1.25 oz) pkg Hy-Vee fajita seasoning mix | ||
4 Hy-Vee hamburger buns, split |
Directions
- In a large skillet, saute bell peppers and onion in olive oil for 10 to 12 minutes. Stir in salsa and heat through.
- Meanwhile, combine ground beef and seasoning mix and mix lightly, but thoroughly. Shape into four 1/2-inch-thick patties.
- Cook patties on counter-top grill about 5 minutes or until no longer pink in center.
- Serve patties on hamburger buns topped with bell pepper mixture.
