1 (2 oz) envelope Hy-Vee onion soup mix | ||
8 hoagie buns |
Directions
- Place chuck roast into a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker.
- Combine water and onion soup mix. Stir well. Pour over chuck roast.
- Cook covered on HIGH for 6 to 8 hours. Remove roast from broth.
- Shred roast with a fork.
- Strain broth and skim off fat. Pour broth into small cups for dipping.
- Serve warm beef on hoagie buns.
