Garlic Knots

Description
This is an easy way to turn biscuit dough into restaurant-style garlic knots. Instead of thyme, try using other herbs such as oregano, basil, or an Italian seasoning blend.

1 (12 oz) can Hy-Vee homestyle Texas style biscuits | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee canola oil | ||
2 tbsp. minced garlic | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee Parmesan cheese | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee dried thyme | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- Stretch and roll one biscuit to form a 6-inch stick of dough. Tie dough into a simple knot, and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining biscuits, placing each knot onto baking sheet when finished. Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until knots are golden brown.
- Meanwhile, combine oil, garlic, cheese, thyme and salt. Brush oil mixture over hot baked knots.
