Glazed Mockingbird Wings

2 lbs. chicken wings, split, tips removed | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste | ||
1 c. Hy-Vee barbecue sauce | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee honey | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce | ||
1 tsp. ground mustard |
Directions
- Place wings on greased broiler pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Broil 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
- Place wings in a greased slow-cooker.
- Stir together barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce and mustard in a medium bowl. Pour over wings in slow-cooker.
- Cook on HIGH for 2 hours.
- Reduce heat to LOW or WARM to serve out of slow-cooker.
