1 (16 oz) pkg Bob's Red Mill gluten-free pizza crust mix | ||
1 ½ c. warm water | ||
2 Hy-Vee large eggs | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
1 c. pizza sauce, divided | ||
1 c. shredded Parmesan cheese, divided | ||
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced and divided | ||
8 oz. fresh mozzarella, cubed and divided | ||
Hy-Vee salt and pepper, to taste | ||
fresh basil, optional |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Prepare pizza crust according to package directions with water, eggs and olive oil. Bake without toppings 7 to 9 minutes.
- Top each pizza crust with pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, tomato slices and mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper. Bake 15 to 18 minutes. Top with fresh basil.
- Makes two 12-inch or one- 16-inch pizza crusts.
