Grilled Garlic-Lime Pita Chips

These pita chips are perfect for all your summertime dips. This crunchy treat pairs well with a Munich Helles beer or Riesling wine.

¼ c. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
1 ½ tsp. lime zest | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee kosher sea salt | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder | ||
2 tbsp. lime juice | ||
Pace Picante Thick & Chunky medium salsa, for serving |
Directions
- Prepare a charcoal or gas grill for direct grilling over medium heat.
- Split pita bread half rounds for a total of 6 half rounds. Lightly brush the rough sides of each pita bread with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine lime zest, salt and garlic powder; sprinkle over pita breads. Drizzle with lime juice.
- Place pita rounds on grill rack. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp, turning once. Cut each pita half into 6 wedges. Serve warm pita chips with salsa, or use chips for nachos.
