Description
Fresh herbs, garlic, and a splash of spice helps make these shrimp Italian. Just wait 'til you try them dipped in marinara instead of cocktail sauce.

3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley | ||
1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil | ||
1 clove(s) garlic, peeled | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee Select olive oil | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select white wine vinegar | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper flakes | ||
1 lbs. thawed frozen large shrimp, peeled and deveined |
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- Combine onion, parsley, basil and garlic in a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Pulse to mince; transfer to a large bowl.
- Stir in olive oil, white wine vinegar, black pepper and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir in shrimp and marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- If desired, place shrimp on skewers or in a grill basket. Brush with remaining marinade. Grill until firm and opaque, about 3 minutes per side.
