Hamburger Rolls

2 lbs. ground beef | ||
¼ c. minced onion | ||
1 large egg | ||
1 c. grated Colby cheese | ||
3 tbsp. ketchup | ||
1 ½ tsp. salt | ||
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce | ||
½ tsp. pepper | ||
¼ tsp. garlic powder | ||
8 to 10 slices bacon |
Directions
- Combine ground beef, onion, egg, cheese, ketchup, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and garlic powder. Form into balls and pat together until firm.
- Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon. Flatten each ball into a hamburger patty. Secure ends of bacon with a toothpick.
- Grill until bacon is crisp and internal temperature of patty reaches 165 degrees.
- Better if made several hours ahead of time and refrigerated, covered, until cooking time.
