1 medium onion, chopped | ||
1 c. sliced carrots | ||
1 c. sliced celery | ||
¼ tsp. freshly ground Hy-Vee black pepper | ||
3 c. chopped cooked extra-lean chicken breast from Hy-Vee's full-service meat case | ||
1 (12 oz) pkg Reames homestyle egg noodles | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee parsley flakes | ||
Hy-Vee salt, to taste |
Directions
- Combine broth, onion, carrots, celery and pepper in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
- Stir in chicken, noodles and parsley. Return to a boil and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until noodles are tender.
