    2 lbs. lean ground beef
    ½ c. diced onion
    2 green bell peppers, chopped
    1 (29 oz) can Hy-Vee tomato sauce
    2 (14.5 oz each) cans Hy-Vee diced Italian tomatoes
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee instant beef bouillon granules
    2 tsp. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee soy sauce
    2 c. cooked Hy-Vee white rice

    Directions

    1. In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef with onion over medium heat. Drain.
    2. In the same Dutch oven, combine the cooked beef and onion, peppers, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bouillon, sugar, black pepper and soy sauce.
    3. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
    4. Stir in rice and heat through.
