    1 (4 lb) boneless beef prime rib
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee ground black pepper
    4 tsp. Hy-Vee garlic salt
    1 ½ tsp. ground mustard
    1 tbsp. Hy-Vee onion powder

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    2. Remove wrap from prime rib and place rib on roaster pan.
    3. In a small bowl, combine pepper, garlic salt, mustard and onion powder.
    4. Thoroughly coat rib with spice mixture.
    5. Arrange rib fat-side-up on roaster and cook 20 minutes.
    6. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees and continue cooking until a thermometer inserted into center reaches 115 degrees, about 75 to 90 minutes.
    7. Transfer roast to platter and allow to cool 30 minutes.
    8. Slice and serve warm.
