Italian Onion and Roquefort Sandwich

4 oz. Roquefort or blue cheese, crumbled | ||
¼ c. olive oil | ||
2 tbsp. red wine vinegar | ||
1 tsp. chopped chives | ||
1 tsp. fresh parsley | ||
½ tsp. minced garlic | ||
1 tbsp. steak sauce | ||
¼ tsp. salt | ||
¼ tsp. ground black pepper | ||
1 (19.76 oz) Johnsonville fresh Italian sausage links | ||
6 hoagie rolls |
Directions
- In a bowl, mix onion, Roquefort cheese, olive oil, red wine vinegar, chives, parsley, garlic, steak sauce, salt and pepper to make Onion and Roquefort Dressing. Let marinate a minimum of 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Grill sausage according to package directions.
- Place a grilled sausage on the bottom half of each hoagie roll. Top with Onion and Roquefort Dressing.
- Broil until cheese starts to melt. Finish with top half of roll. Serve warm.
