1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced | ||
1 celery, sliced | ||
2 (14.5 oz each) cans Hy-Vee fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth | ||
2 c. water | ||
1 (0.7 oz) envelope Good Seasons Italian salad dressing mix | ||
2 c. cooked, cubed turkey breast | ||
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee large shells, uncooked |
Directions
- In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, carrot and celery and heat 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add chicken broth, water and salad dressing mix. Bring to a boil.
- Add turkey and pasta. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
