    ¼ c. lemon juice
    ½ c. Hy-Vee sugar
    1 (16 oz) pkg Hy-Vee angel food cake mix
    1 (15.75 oz) can lemon pie filling
    whipped topping, for serving
    sliced fresh strawberries or whole raspberries, for serving

    Directions

    1. Combine lemon juice and sugar. Stir well and set aside.
    2. Stir both the packets of dry cake mixes together. Stir in lemon pie filling and mix well.
    3. Spray a 9-by-13-inch pan with cooking spray. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes.
    5. Remove bars from oven. Spread lemon juice/sugar mixture over the top of bars while they are still warm.
    6. Cut into bars when cool.
    7. Serve with whipped topping and sliced fresh strawberries or whole raspberries, if desired.
