    Description

    One of our favorite tricks to getting a crunchy topping on baked mac & cheese is to top it with panko breadcrumbs; then drizzle melted butter on top before baking.

    1 c. roasted red peppers, chopped
    1 oz. prosciutto, chopped
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee dried thyme
    1 (5 oz) container Hy-Vee Select shredded Asiago cheese

    • 1-quart baking dish

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl, stir together macaroni and cheese, red peppers, prosciutto and thyme. Pour into a 1-quart baking dish and top with Asiago cheese.

    3. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
