    4 Hy-Vee large eggs
    1 c. Hy-Vee half-and-half
    3 tbsp. Hy-Vee honey
    ½ tsp. cinnamon maple sprinkle
    ½ tsp. maple extract
    6 slice(s) Hy-Vee Texas toast
    ½ c. Hy-Vee chopped pecans
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter, melted
    Hy-Vee pancake syrup, optional

    Directions

    1. Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, honey, cinnamon maple sprinkle and maple extract.
    2. Place bread slices in a single layer in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
    3. Pour egg mixture over bread slices. Turn bread slices once. Cover pan with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
    4. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
    5. Sprinkle bread slices with pecans. Drizzle with melted butter.
    6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bread slices puff up. Serve with maple syrup.
