Maple Pecan French Toast

3 tbsp. Hy-Vee honey | ||
½ tsp. cinnamon maple sprinkle | ||

6 slice(s) Hy-Vee Texas toast | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee chopped pecans | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter, melted | ||
Hy-Vee pancake syrup, optional |
Directions
- Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, honey, cinnamon maple sprinkle and maple extract.
- Place bread slices in a single layer in a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Pour egg mixture over bread slices. Turn bread slices once. Cover pan with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Sprinkle bread slices with pecans. Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bread slices puff up. Serve with maple syrup.
