    1 c. cold Hy-Vee 2% milk
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee butter
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
    ⅛ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper

    Directions

    1. Whisk together corn starch and cold milk in a small saucepan.
    2. Add butter, salt and black pepper.
    3. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Continue to boil for 1 minute.
