Mint Chocolate Ice Cream

1 c. Hy-Vee half-and-half | ||
⅓ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract | ||
Hy-Vee salt | ||
1 (12 oz) pkg Ghirardelli mini chips | ||
1 tsp. mint flavoring | ||
8 drop(s) green food coloring |
Directions
- Thoroughly whisk together all ingredients in a bowl with a pouring spout. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Freeze ice cream according to manufacturer instructions. Transfer ice cream to a freezer container and freeze.
