    2 tsp. lime zest
    2 tsp. lemon zest
¾ c. bottled key lime juice
    1 (14-oz.) can Hy-Vee sweetened condensed milk
    1 ½ tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract

    Things To Grab

    • Medium bowl
    • Stand or electric hand mixer
    • Plastic wrap
    • Chilled metal bowl
    • Plastic bag or piping bag
    • Star piping tip

    Directions

    1. Place avocados into a medium mixing bowl. Beat on medium speed with a stand or electric hand mixer until smooth and creamy, scraping sides as necessary. Add lime zest, lemon zest, and key lime juice beating to incorporate. Beat in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until well combined.

    2. Spoon key lime mixture into the premade graham cracker crust. Smooth top with a spatula. Place plastic wrap on top of key lime pie pressing down to get the air out and creating a smooth top. Freeze at least 4 hours until chilled.

    3. Just before serving, remove pie from freezer and thaw for at least 10 minutes. Place coconut whipped cream in a plastic bag or piping bag fitted with a star piping tip. Remove plastic wrap from pie. Pipe 8 evenly spaced stars onto pie. Top with toasted coconut and key lime wedges for garnish. Serve immediately.

      Hyvee Culinary Expert Tip
Coconut not your thing? Ditch the coconut whipped cream and top with your favorite store-bought or homemade version and leave off the toasted coconut garnish.
