No-Bake Baby Ruth Bars

1 c. light corn syrup | ||
⅔ c. sugar | ||
1 ½ c. crunchy peanut butter | ||
1 tsp. vanilla | ||
6 oz. chocolate chips | ||
6 oz. butterscotch chips |
Directions
- Place cereal in a large bowl.
- Bring syrup and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour over cereal and stir until well coated. Press into a 9-by-13-inch pan.
- Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring often. Pour over cereal mixture and spread evenly.
- When topping is firm, cut into squares.
