No-Sugar-Added Pear Pie

4 ½ c. sliced firm pears, pared, cored | ||
3 tbsp. Hy-Vee Select strawberry fruit spread | ||
5 packet(s) Splenda sweetener | ||
1 tbsp. Hy-Vee flour | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee cinnamon | ||
½ tsp. Hy-Vee ground ginger | ||
2 (9 oz each) Hy-Vee frozen pie crusts, thawed |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together pears, fruit spread, sweetener, flour, cinnamon and ginger. Spoon evenly into pie crust.
- Invert second pie crust on top of pear filling and gently shake crust out of foil.
- Crimp edges of pie crusts together. Using a fork, poke holes in crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake pie for 1 hour. Remove and let pie cool 2 hours or overnight.
